Suggest an Improvement

When using the slice (linear & area) function, we have to keep clicking on the slice button to slice multiple segments. Is there a way (maybe double click, or shift+click the button) to lock the slice button "on" to slice multiple takeoff items, and then click again once done to turn it off?

I do love having the ability to have multiple takeoff windows, but the issue is that you have to spread them out in multiple areas of your screen so they do not stack on top of each other. Or if you do stack them on top of each other, then you have to hover down to the BuzzBID icon and comb through which tab is relevant to what you want to find. It would be great to be able to have the additional popup windows be able to stack similar to how Google Chrome has with the tab bar for all the additional windows.

When uploading drawings to a new (or existing) project, I have the need to want the "Cover", or "General" pages up at the top of the drawing list. There is no way for me to be able to sort the included list of how pages get tagged into the categories. At the moment I am defaulting to placing these general pages in the "NONE (ungrouped)" section of the plan category to force the general pages I want to the top of the list.

When creating new linear items, area items, or count items not using the ClickOnce function. It would be great to be able to snap points of a new item into the place of an existing item so the lines/counts/areas can line up correctly where connections are made. At the moment I am able to semi navigate around this issue by trying to click select a linear line for example so the end points could be registered, and then selecting the correct item created form a takeoff to be able to snap to that old end point. This is not idea though when multiple lines are having to be created.

Every now and then we are tasked with creating an estimate for a client with just rough dimensions of a project. as an example 20LF of a wall, 800SF of space, etc. It becomes a bit of an annoyance of having to create a linear item for example, and just having to re-adjust the line size to account for the correct total LF of the designated sizing. or the same thing with an area if we know a given dimension space is something like 20x40. I would suggest being able to click one point of an item trying to be created and being able to use the arrow keys to determine which location the item is to be created with a box that pops up to confirm the dimension of the item trying to be created. Function should be able to work on other items too such as when trying to measure a dimension.

When it comes time to enter client information, or pricing information I am having to update multiple entries across different platforms. It would be great if BuzzBID is able to communicate with other web platforms such as quickbooks, procore, foundations, CRMs, inventory logs, etc. so if an update is performed on one place, it will be accurate on other locations as well.

When working on a laptop I have the tendency to want to pinch to zoom in a set of drawings, or even pan around with the touchscreen. This is not a current functionality within BuzzBID.

Can there be more pattern options added to the Linear Take-Off? Currently, there are options for Normal, Solid, Right Diagonal, Left Diagonal & Crosshatch. Some to add would be Vertical Line, Horizontal Line, Plus Sign, Boxed Crosshatch; etc. Also, could we add specific spacing for the lines? Example: on the vertical pattern, we might want to change the line spacing from 12" to 16" or 24".

Ability to add multiple supplier to a quote at one time instead of having to add each one by one.

In addition to requesting being able to print or pdf our material quote requests they receive through the BB system (requested previously) I am also getting requests that the email from the system include the project name so they can more easily hunt it up later on. Currently it simply says "Request for a material quote - 001"
